Design Department Manager at CETMA, Research and Technology Organization

Born in 1979, he graduated in Industrial Design at Milan Polytechnic in 2004. He is now Design Department Manager at CETMA, Research and Technology Organisation, where he works as researcher and industrial designer dealing with product development, design and innovation management processes. Consultant for many companies (SMEs and Large Enterprises) in R&D projects and innovation services, in most cases aimed to develop new generation products through management and supply of advanced services in the conceptual design, engineering, prototyping and protection phases.

His team has received several awards, in 2011 and 2016 the Honourable Mention Compasso d’Oro ADI for Smoov ASRV and THECHA designs. Ubaldo has various international experiences in the main student and work exchange programs, Erasmus, Grundtvig, Relate and projects carried out within research and innovation funding programs. Further to this he writes for some national magazines and coordinates the Design page of “Il Giornale dell’Architettura”. Ubaldo is a true Europeanist, he believes that the future is in the hands of young creative people and blood donors.
