Persona

SET OF HANDMADE MASKS THAT TRANSLATES THE HERITAGE OF THE VENETIAN CARNIVAL STORY FOR THE MODERN WORLD BY USING DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES

The project

Project Persona is born with the idea of re inventing the ancient craft of maks making.
This discipline is very ancient and virtuous, however it is really hard to make innovation within his field, and the art it’s basically frozen to it’s original state. To innovate such a particular discipline 3d scanning and parametric 3d modeling has been selected.
In this way they can establish a very strong connection between the user and the product, as well as be able to produce a disruptive and interesting concept. The masks will then be reproduced with 3d printing techniques.
