The project

The aim of this project is to build fashion and design-tools, functional objects and unique patterns and to imagine how things could be different for today’s customers in times of co-creation, decentralised manufacturing, maker empowerment vs automatic processes.

Bregje Cox (Netherlands)

BREGJE COX fashion designer who has developed a strong visual identity with her brand “Noir Near Future”.
Research-focused design that looks to combine the fields of fashion, science, psychology and technology with a focus on human innovation. Bregje Cox has a BA in fashion design. Selected for Lichting 2009, she has presented two collections at the Amsterdam fashion week. She recently collaborated with Mark King on ENCLOTHED COGNITION which has been shown at FASHIONCLASH + Cube + Science gallery London. 

Studio De Wilde (Belgium)

STUDIO FREDERIK DE WILDE // SOFTWARE/CODE PRODUCER/ MANUFACTURER innovation-driven studio exploring new ways of seeing, methodologies and materials blurring and exploring the boundaries, instabilities and oscillations between the physical and digital. While the primary goal is to support the artistic praxis of Frederik De Wilde, its secondary goal is to create enablers like open source software tools for creative artists and designers.
