INTERACTIVE TOYS FOR SMARTPHONE

INTERACTIVE TOYS FOR CHILDREN WITH INTERACTIONS TO REPLACE SMARTPHONES

The project

“Wearable Play: e-textile toys for digital natives”, aims to develop interactive toy prototypes that can be worn or played with. The prototypes will be made of e-textile materials (conductive threads or fabrics) and combine the comfort of textiles with the dynamic properties of contemporary technology into traditional designer fabrics with the aim of impacting in the social interaction and movement of children.  The idea is to rethink the value and functionality of clothing with regards to the behaviour of children in the digital world by building additional experiences for them to grow socially. The project will innovate children’s clothing by combining them with playful functionalities.
