Capsule coat project

The project

Capsule coat design is based on timeless design ideals. It is a combination of three different pieces, that can be worn on top of each other to create a layered looks or as individual garments. For different seasons and for different environments, the Capsule design is fit for cooler or rainier day, worn for a urban office hours or leisure nature walk.

By using traditional crafting techniques and new automatized, easily accessible and affordable quilting techniques, we are working with the development of a coat design made from 100% recycled materials. All materials of this Capsule coat prototype, the fabrics, the padding and the buttons are based on the usage of re-used and recycled textiles and polyester fibers.
