Fashion Tech Week Paris – October 12th – 20th

Between 12th – 20th October Fashion Tech week Paris hosts an array of events devoted to innovation in fashion technology.

On Monday 16th WORTH took part at the Fashion Pitch Night, with our co-ordinating manager, Korina Molla, providing an expert eye as a judge, to discover the next FashionTech start-ups. Alongside Korina on the judging panel was Alice Gras from Hall Couture and Flore Segalan from Elle Magazine.

The winning project was iNDUO, who pitched their anti-stain and antiperspirant cotton. The soft and odour avoiding cotton technology won against five other project ideas; Factonics, a personalised shopping experience innovation; MILAN AV-JC, waste reducing fashion tech; Celeste Paris, using environmentally friendly colour processes; and Torq Labs, with wearable sensors.

WORTH will participate again during FashionTech week Paris at the Hackamode on 20th October. Inviting 100 transnational students from 30 different schools to go head to head as they propose innovative solutions on subjects presented to them by professional coaches. The competitive event aims to enhance collective intelligence and encourage the emergence of new ideas amongst the minds of the future.
